It's important for us that 100% of our magazine's editorial content is composed by human writers and artists. A.I. can be a wonderful tool, but we will not spurn the creative spirit – especially when it's already so rare. We strive always to promote local writing and art for the people, by the people. Take our A.I.-free guarantee badge (included in every issue) as an oath to that end.
We recognize that we've entered a brave new world, and, while we have several layers of checks in place (including contracts with A.I. clauses for all of our featured contributors), it's always possible that some bad actor or internet prankster will try to slip one past our goalie. But our editorial staff will always do its very best to make sure this is a rare occurrence (if it ever happens at all).
