SUBMISSIONS

We review submissions for creative nonfiction and article ideas all year. Please email us at contact [AT] denversemagazine.com.

For poetry and short fiction, please wait to submit your work when we have an open window. You can follow us on Instagram for updates or check back here for notices on new open calls.

HAVE A GOOD IDEA FOR A LOCAL STORY, BUT YOU’RE NOT A WRITER?

No problem! Send us your idea, and we’ll consider it. If we end up publishing the story, we’ll offer to credit you for sending us the original lead for the article. If you’d like to remain anonymous (especially if you’re alerting us to potentially sensitive subject matter), we’ll always protect your identity.

FRIENDS OF DENVERSE:

The mission of Lighthouse Writers Workshop is to provide the highest caliber of artistic education, support, and community for writers and readers in the Rocky Mountain region and beyond. They strive to ensure that literature remains accessible and relevant in the culture, and that individuals achieve their fullest potential as artists and human beings.

Twenty Bellows seeks to showcase the work of the next generation of artisans – those who work in word and verse with the same intensity of a blacksmith and their hammer. Emphasizing the work of emerging and unpublished writers and poets, 20B seeks to amplify their voices in print and on stage.
